Guelph Symphony Premiere of 'Willow Song'

Updated: Sep 6, 2018

The Guelph Symphony Orchestra commissioned an orchestral arrangement of my award winning setting of 'Willow Song' from Shakespeare's Otello. Originally composed for soprano with piano accompaniment, the song was an award winner in the Stratford Festival of Canada's Composition Contest for Young Composers held in honour of its 50th anniversary. The performance, featuring the exquisite soprano Rosalind Pickett was enthusiastically received at the River Run Centre in Guelph on February 18th, 2007. The soprano & piano score is available at the Canadian Music Centre https://www.musiccentre.ca/sheet-music. .
